Rubrics: Writing and Speaking Assessment Tools

This presentation explains what rubrics are, analyzes a writing rubric and a speaking rubric, shows how to use these rubrics to grade a writing task and speaking task in the Grade 8 textbook, and ends with suggestions on other uses for rubrics in your classroom.
