Sojida Isamova is from Bukhara, Uzbekistan. She received her master's degree in teaching English from BSU. She started her career as an English teacher and English department supervisor at School #16 in Bukhara. In 2008, she was selected as a TEA fellow and was fortunate enough to develop her teaching proficiency  at GMU in the US. After returning from abroad, she began teaching at Lyceum #4. As a head teacher, she ran the FL department and did her best to improve foreign language acquisition at the Lyceum. In 2016, Sojida moved to Tashkent, where she worked as an English at Lyceum #2 under UzWLU and School #49. Currently, Sojida is working at the Tashkent Regional In-Service Teacher Training Center.

As a Core Teacher Trainer, she is looking forward to improving her in-service teacher training skills and contributing to reforming foreign language teaching in Uzbekistan.
