Nafisa Aslonova is from the Bukhara region. She received her undergraduate degree in English Philology from Uzbekistan State World Languages University. She started her teaching career at Boarding School #197 in Tashkent in 2010. From 2011-2012, she continued teaching at Gala Asia Vocational and Transport College. Since 2013, Nafisa has been teaching at Boarding School #49 in the Bukhara district as an English teacher. She has an English Club for talented and disadvantaged children. She is also currently studying for a master’s degree in English Linguistics in Bukhara. Nafisa is the author of several scientific articles. As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, she is looking forward to participating in and contributing to the TESOL program in Uzbekistan and implementing student-centered methods of teaching.
