Gulnaz Sulaymanova is from Nukus and received her bachelor's degree in English Philology from Berdakh Karakalpak State University. She has been an English teacher at Educational and Development Center "Progress" Specialized School #46 since 2004. She teaches students from pre-intermediate to upper-intermediate levels. She leads Advanced English courses and organizes different activities for the students such as, "Tale-acting" and "English Marathon" in English as well. She also teaches and leads sessions for young teachers in her school on how to develop curriculum, plan successfully, and receive feedback on their teaching. She also participated in the local volleyball team competition among the women of other schools. As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, she would like to learn the importance of using a variety of learning techniques in the classroom and explore teaching methods such as blended learning and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
