Hayotkhon Turaeva is from Namangan, which is an absolutely fascinating city in Uzbekistan. She received her bachelor’s diploma from the English department at Namangan State University. She completed her degree in 2010 and began to work as an English teacher at a vocational college in Mingbulak. Four years later, while she was on maternity leave, the Director of School #50 invited her to work at his school because there was no English teacher there. At first, she was afraid of accepting the challenge to teach at a secondary school. Finally, she accepted his invitation and now has kind and friendly colleagues. Her pupils are clever and intelligent. As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, she is looking forward to getting more experience that will lead to higher success. She thinks it is the best way to develop her professional skills.
