Guljan Abdreimovna Bekturganova is from Nukus in the Karakalpakstan region of Uzbekistan. She graduated from Karakalpak State University in 1999 with a master's degree in English. Since leaving university she has been working at School #24. She has over 15 years of experience working in this educational system and is currently a full-time employee. She teaches English to second and ninth grade pupils. Most of her time is spent working. Her aim is to plan good lessons and teach them to the best of her ability. Guljan is very keen to work as Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, and looks forward to gaining useful experience throughout the training.
