Bagila Jiemuratova is from Nukus and received her master’s degree in Politics and Security from the OSCE Academy in Bishkek and her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Karakalpak State University. She has been working as head of the English circle at Barkamal Awlad Children’s school in Nukus since October 2012. She has 8-9 years of experience working with pupils and teaching them in English. Besides that, she has the following work experience at different international and non-governmental organizations in conducting training in the field of healthcare: 1. 2018-2020: Project Assistant, UN Joint Programme on the Aral Sea 2. 2013-2014: Community Volunteer Coordinator, UNDP/UNV Project on Social Innovation. 3. 2013: On-call translator-Medical assistant, MSF office in Nukus As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, she is looking forward to getting new skills and experience from her foreign colleagues, mastering new teaching methods, and sharing her knowledge with the other teachers in her region.
