Maktuba Khonsaidova received her bachelor's degree from the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages as an English teacher. She has been working as an English teacher at Secondary School #15 in Chirchik since 2017. On her own initiative, she opened an English language circle for school children two years ago. They learn organizational skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) in these extra classes after school. It is interesting and pleasant to work with students who are eager to learn foreign languages. She thinks that Uzbekistan has made great opportunities in their educational system to develop the English language. As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, she strongly believes that she will obtain modern skills in her occupation and that this program will help teachers to enhance their professional development.
