Kamilla Kurbanova is from Fergana and received her bachelor's degree in English Philology from the Uzbek State World Languages University. She has been an English teacher at Specialized School #40 since 2011. She is also a class teacher for the 9th form. In 2018 she participated in "The Best Teacher of Uzbekistan" contest and got the first place among Fergana city teachers. In 2019 she won first place in the regional round of "The Best Teacher of Uzbekistan" contest. In 2021 she won first place in "The Best Visual Aid in the Classroom" contest with "QR-library". As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, she is looking forward to improving her pedagogical skills, increasing influence and use of English in the classroom, getting her TESOL Core Teacher Training Certificate, learning new techniques in teaching, and sharing her experience with other English teachers of Uzbekistan.
