Feruz Tuyunov is from the Samarkand region. He received his undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature Teacher Specialization at the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute. He started his teaching career at Urgut Service Professional College in Urgut from 2011 to 2014. In 2012, he became a trainer on the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies in the education system, and coached teachers. In 2013, he started teaching at Secondary School #114 in Urgut. In 2020, Feruz took part in the COURSERA platform and studied online courses at California State University, Arizona State University, Yale University, the University of California-Irvine, Georgia Institute of Technology and KAIST as part of the International Education Program. Since 2015, Feruz has been teaching at Secondary School #10 in Urgut as an English teacher. As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, Feruz is looking forward to contributing to the TESOL program in Uzbekistan and implementing student-centered methods of teaching.
